Most of you are aware or have been to Nainital. Some of you know about Bhimtal as well but i bet very few of you must have heard of Naukuchiatal, which makes it a must to be on my writing list. Naukuchiatal or “lake of nine corners” is a place of for those who seek calmness quietude beside the nature’s shade. The whole village is surrounded by hills covered with trees and shrubs.

Naukuchiatal is the deepest lake in the Nainital region with a depth of 40.3 m. All of those living in the metropolitan cities use travel as an escape to our constant running and fast lives in which we don’t have time for ourselves, we need tranquility and closeness to nature to rejuvenate ourselves and get back to the rat race we all are running in our lives. So for that weneed more places like Naukuchiatal than Nainital. I am not condemning Nainital or telling you it’s a not to go to place. It’s just that we have overexploited Nainital so much that it has lost its natural beauty. However, you can stay in Naukuchiatal and go to sightseeing in Nainital which is only 26 km far from Naukuchital and see the difference yourself.

Apart from amazing scenic views Naukuchiatal also has to offer some tempting activities like river crossing, kayaking, water zorbing etc. Of which Kayaking is my favorite as you can see in the picture. Moreover the hotel I was staying in had their personal Kayaks so you can  rent a Kayak at a very cheap price and go the other side of the Lake, park your Kayak there and explore the other side of Naukuchiatal. When you are done take back the Kayak from the parking to the resort. To know where i was staying you have to write me personally.  I know my words can never express enough to  justify the beauty of the place so go there and share the experience in comments or write me directly.
I would be happy more than happy to hear back from you.
