KOT NAIKANA : OFFBEAT COTTAGE IN KUMAON
There are a few places which have their own traditions and i wanted to write and explore such places. Into my research, I found this amazing place called Kot Naikana. A traditional Kumaoni house transformed into a classy and modern home stay. Perched at 1940 meters in the midst of pristine forest of oak, rhododendron, pine and Deodar, this boutique home stay has a vibe to kill for. All rooms overlook the valley leading to snow covered white peaks in the distance and are made tastefully while their decor blends in perfectly with the surroundings. While the exteriors reflect an old-world charm with stone walls and slated roof, yet its rooms are comfortable, homely with spacious en-suite bathrooms.
