Whenever I think of the most beautiful, stylish and unexplored places in India- this place tops the list. I have been avoiding writing about this place because of its price range to be on a higher side. All the posts that I have written before this are about places which are pocket-friendly but then I thought why should I decide my reader’s budget? Let my readers do it themselves. And there is one more thing about this place that makes it more unexplored because the person writing about an unexplored destination and places i.e. me haven’t been to this place himself. But that should not be the reason for keeping such an amazing place a secret to you.

How to Reach

  • By Train:- Overnight Journey in the train from Delhi to Kathgodam followed by a 4 hour Drive to Almora, from where the Village Walk begins.
  • By Car:- Drive from Delhi to Almora (usually takes 10 hours) and then the Village Walk
  • By Air:– Flight to Pantnagar followed by a 4.5-hour drive. Flights operate only Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Best Time to Visit

October to March.
